Entry for the general public is free, and others are paid. Changing rooms, showers, free ample parking spaces are available and facilities like sun loungers, umbrellas are chargeable. Resorts, restaurants, snacks-bars, restrooms are provided on the beach. Some interesting attractions like Marina Mall, Presidential Palace are located near the beach. One can explore the Corniche, by hiring the bicycle from the rental shops at the beach.

Resorts like St. Regis and Park Hyatt are located on the beach for food lovers. Have free sun loungers and umbrellas at public holidays. The beach is open daily from 8 am till the evening with and entry fee for adults and children above six years. This beach is protected by Dune Protection Zone, which limits till 60 metres from the natural nesting grounds of hawksbill turtles at the shoreline. Al Bateen Beach is an attractive beach known for its stunning views of Hudariyat Island and Hudariyat Bridge. Being a Blug Flag beach it is very popular destination with water sports lovers and swimmers. This beach is a favourite place with kayakers, volleyball players who flock here to enjoy the waters. The beach provides changing rooms, showers, wash rooms and children’s play ground. The beach is open from 10am to 10pm and there is an entry fee to the visitors. This beach offers separate section for women, which accommodates more than thousand women and children to enjoy their time. Swimming in the evening is prohibited due the security reasons for women.
