The proposed Performing Arts Centre on the Saadiyat Island has been rendered by Zaha Hadid, an Iraqi-British architect and Pritzker Prize winner. The 62 metres high and 52,381 square metres large centre is supposed to include five theatres, a music hall, concert hall, opera house, drama theatre and a flexible theatre with a combined capacity of 6,300. The centre is currently a part of Saadiyat Cultural District's second phase of development.
