During the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims abstain from food and drinks during daylight hours. Many non-Muslims in support of their Muslim friends and colleagues also choose to fast at the same time. But where can you dine in Abu Dhabi if you are not fasting? Here are the top 5 restaurants that are open during daylight hours this year.

Cooper’s Bar & Restaurant 

If you conjure up images of lazy pub lunches, the Park Rotana’s British Gastro Pub Cooper’s is the perfect choice to indulge in a delectable mix of traditional British and International favourites. It is open all day long throughout Ramadan, serving a selection of vegetarian / meat delights and an excellent selection of beverages.
Location: Park Rotana, Al Matar, Abu Dhabi
Timings: During the holy month of Ramadan, Cooper's will be open 12:00 pm - 2:30 am

whEAT

Le Royal Méridien’s café, whEAT, is a local Bakery and Bistro that will remain open for breakfast and lunch during the Holy Month. They offer dishes created made of fresh natural ingredients such as blueberry Bircher muesli and banana bread with Nutella for breakfast.

Timings: During the holy month of Ramadan, whEAT will be open 7:00 am – 7:00 pm

Mondo Pizzeria

Mondo Pizzeria is not your typical fast-food delivery pizza outlet. Chef Luigi Antonio Piu has taken efforts to present his imaginative cuisine in the most genuine style by using fresh bread made from special Italian flour. Even the wood used in the oven comes from Italy. If you’re craving for quality Italian food during Ramadan, Mondo Pizzeria is the place to be at.

Zuma

The brainchild of Rainer Becker, Zuma is an award-winning contemporary Japanese restaurant located in Sowwah Square on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi's core CBD. It follows the Japanese izakaya-style of dining, meaning you’ll have to share the food with your partner. This high-end Japanese restaurant has a four-course set business menu in addition to private dining facilities for up to 14 people. The restaurant is child-friendly too with high chairs, colouring books to keep the tiny tots engaged.

Timings: During the holy month of Ramadan, Zuma will be open daily from noon to 3:00 pm; from 7:00 pm onwards for dinner

Fanr

Fanr is a sophisticated casual dining restaurant located at Manarat Al Saadiyat. As a part of Abu Dhabi Summer Season, the restaurant will be offering a diverse menu over the next two months including 25% off all food and beverage from June 11th to September 5th, 2015. They are also planning to make Ramadan a special occasion, inviting guests to join in and sample their la carte menu “Ramadan Specials with a Middle Eastern Twist”, available throughout the day.
Location: The Galleria, Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi
Timings: During the holy month of Ramadan, Fanr will be open from 10:00 am – 11:00 pm

Aw, this was a very nice post. In idea I would like to put in writing like this additionally – taking time and precise effort to make a very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and under no circumstances appear to get one thing done.
